Depeche Mode (The Best Of Videos Volume I) / Audio de DVD Original

The Best of - Volume 1 (Lo Mejor de - Volumen 1) es una compilación de éxitos del grupo inglés de música electrónica Depeche Mode publicada en el 2006.

Como las anteriores recopilaciones del grupo esta es una colección de sencillos, aunque es la primera titulada “Lo Mejor de”, además, el orden de las canciones es totalmente arbitrario y no cronológico como en aquéllas. En promoción de la colección, adicionalmente se incluyó un sencillo de ese mismo año.

Su nombre indica que habría por lo menos un segundo volumen de la colección The Best of, pero se ha manejado la información de que es sólo un título decorativo y el disco será único.

Es su segundo álbum en vivo lanzado en DVD. Como su nombre indica, contiene material de dos conciertos realizados el 18 y 19 de febrero en la Ciudad de Milán en Italia, correspondientes a la gira Touring the Angel con motivo del álbum Playing the Angel del 2005, un segundo disco con material adicional, así como un CD también en vivo.

Depeche Mode (Devotional) / Audio de DVD Original

En el año 2004 la Gira Devotional se relanzó para formato DVD en dos discos, el primero tiene el mismo contenido del de 1993, pero se le añadieron dos canciones que no aparecían en la edición original, y el segundo contiene material adicional relacionado con el álbum Songs of Faith and Devotion y la gira Devotional Tour.

Esta vez, el contenido fue el mismo para ambos lados del mundo. La reedición se llama exactamente igual que el original de 1993, aunque por distinción normalmente se le conoce con el nombre de Devotional DVD.

* Se puso el énfasis en la actuación, más de lo que nunca habiamos hecho, aunque aún usaramos la tecnologia para reestructurar y modelar esa actuación de modo que no terminara siendo el tipico rock de pup (Alan Wilder).

* La puesta en escena era de 2 escenarios, uno sobre otro, el inferior era conformado por 9 pantallas de 0.75 metros cuadrados y el escenario superior habia 2 pantallas enormes (Anton Corbijn).
